Summer Opportunities for High School Students

Here are 3 opportunities for high school students that have applications that are due in the near future. 

The University of Arizona’s KEYS Research Internship gives a unique summer opportunity to strongly motivated high school students pursuing advanced bioscience or biomedical science education.
Research Internships are open at http://keys.pharmacy.arizona.edu. The deadline for completed applications is February 7, 2012.
 
The National Youth Science Camp (NYSC) is a residential science education program that honors and challenges two graduating high school science students from each stateAll educational and recreational programming, as well as meals, lodging, and round-trip air passage on scheduled airlines are provided free of charge to the delegates. Applications and more information is available online at www.nysc.org.  Applications are due Feb 17, 2012.
 
The Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) is proud to announce the application opening for the 2012 Helios Scholars paid summer internship program. Internships are available in all areas of translational science including laboratory and clinical research, computational biology and bioinformatics.
